Step #1: Go to the first page.

Upon opening the collection you have created, you will be redirected to the default page which is the first page.

In the image shown below, the chosen collection is the “Default Collection.” This is what the first page looks like:

Step #2: Adding a Template.

To fully demonstrate how to use the snap to grid feature, we need to add a template. The templates are already pre-formatted in the application so you no longer need to manually create them.

There are four templates: Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, and Division. For this demonstration, I will be choosing the first template from the “Addition” templates.

This is what the first page looks like after adding the template:

The default rows are set to “10” and the default columns are set to “6.” I will be reducing the rows to “6” and the columns to “5” so we can see it much better.

Afterward, click on the “Update Worksheet” button.

This is what the worksheet looks like after:

Drag your mouse cursor to adjust the size of the worksheet with the help of the six dots outlining the template. This is how I adjusted the worksheet:

Step #3: Using the snap to grid feature.

Since the worksheet is already clicked, drag it to the center. You will notice that as you drag the worksheet, there are grid lines on the page.

Texts

Step #1: Click on the “Add Text” option.

I will still be using the same page where I created the worksheet. Now, click on the “Add Text” option which is the first option from the left among the page controls.

I will be leaving the default text as is and will no longer modify anything.

Step #2: Using the snap to grid feature.

Since the text is already clicked, drag it above the worksheet. You will notice that as you drag the text, there are grid lines on the page.
